Introduction :
Muslim Health Professionals of Minnesota (MHPM) is a nonprofit corporation. Muslim Health Professionals of Minnesota was established in late 2010 with the intent of bringing together physicians, dentists, nurses and allied health workers. The organization was incorporated under charter of State of Minnesota.Mission:
To promote and provide health care services, education and advocacy for all people of Minnesota
Our Vision:
Vision and Purpose of the Muslim Health Professionals of Minnesota include but are not limited to:- Volunteering at free clinics
- Educating hospitals and clinics about dealing with Muslim patients
- Participating in health fairs and holding health education seminars
- Providing resources for and visiting Muslim patients in hospitals
- Providing a database of Muslim physicians and health care professionals
- Organizing continuing medical education (CME) courses and seminars
- Establishing a mentorship program for students and residents in training
- Giving to charitable causes
- Health care legislation and advocacy
